2013...the story always continues...

2013 was a year filled with a lot of new things for me. Many new experiences, many of which were amazing. My eyes saw new sights. My heart fell in love with different tastes and smells and people. 2013 gave me a new sense of self that is more in tune with my desires and aspirations. 2013 continued to teach me that everyone makes choices in life and the hardest part of that truth is learning how to live with them

I learned also that sometimes fantasy is so much more perfect in our minds that we lose time and neglect living reality. I've learned to accept that life will always be messy no matter how perfect anything is at first. And I learned that my faith is above the pain of this realization. And that that fear that keeps so many from living or trying or simply hoping for something ultimately will deprive you from feeling.

I learned that learning never ceases and we should embrace every lesson graciously for it too is a blessing.

And so all that I mentioned above are things I've continued to learn about in 2013 from those closest to me as well as those farthest in distance from me, literally across the world. And these are also the things that continuously push me to keep going and never stopping.

North American society is emotionally bankrupt. We are so disconnected from the world to our own "good" some might say. But little do we acknowledge the world is present in our daily living.  Love and Compassion is what this society lacks, and what we as people often shun from our lives in order not to feel vulnerable. How shallow we've become. How arrogant we are sometimes that we fail to acknowledge that we are not the greatest and that everyday is a struggle to be a better person. I've learned as well how hard it is to follow your own advice. Because sometimes our pride and ego are so loud!
And Self-Reflection and Self-Reflexivity are the greatest gifts you can give to anyone you love.

Every story has an ending. But in life, every ending is also a beginning, a new prospect from which hope evolves.

I wish you all Love in your lives. Compassion in all you do. And Courage to confront the good and bad, and the Truth that they carry.

EXCITED AND GRATEFUL For What's To Come!

Happy New Year. God Bless you and your loved ones :).

Love,

Jenny :)

2 Peter 1:5-8
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
